We are delighted to announce that Harry Labana has been appointed as Proofpoint’s SVP and GM of archiving, compliance and digital risk, effective immediately.
Harry is a seasoned and dynamic technology leader with a proven track record of building top-performing product and R&D teams to shape market-leading solutions. With over 25 years of experience as a senior executive in the IT industry, Harry has demonstrated success in developing strategy, go to market plans, product launches and driving growth in companies with $1B+ portfolios, rapidly growing private companies and leading complex IT programs.
Harry brings a unique perspective to the role, having worked both vendor-side and as an enterprise customer. In his most recent role as managing director at Goldman Sachs, Harry was responsible for corporate and workplace solutions engineering, with a focus on digital risk and shaping a stronger end-user experience in today’s increasingly collaborative workspace. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Workspot, VMWare, CloudVolumes, Citrix, AppSense and was a senior technology consultant various at financial services organizations such as Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brother, Barclays Capital and Dow Jones.
