We are honoured to announce that Proofpoint was recognised at the Cyber Security Awards Dinner and Presentation at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel on Thursday 29th June 2017 with the Best Security Company Award.
Established in 2014, the Cyber Security Awards reward the best individuals, teams and companies within the cyber security industry, with a focus on excellence and innovation as core themes throughout all categories. Organisations and people from all over the world submit applications including public and private, for-profit and non-profit, largest to smallest and new start-ups with a presence in the United Kingdom. The Cyber Security Awards relies on a panel of 10 expert judges, which include some of the most well-regarded individuals within the industry, to select winners.
Judge Karla Jobling said “the competition this year was really exciting, as innovation and changes in the industry really shone through. There were so many fresh ideas and success stories, it has been challenging to pick the best. There were also a record number of applicants, making the competition in many categories, even tougher.”
“Thousands of organisations worldwide rely on Proofpoint to safeguard how they work across email, mobile and social media channels, against a backdrop of rapidly-evolving cyber threats,” said Ryan Kalember, senior vice president of Cybersecurity Strategy for Proofpoint. “It is an honour to be named Best Security Company at the Cyber Security Awards and gain added recognition for our hard work and commitment to innovation when it comes to advanced cybersecurity protection for businesses of all sizes.”
